75 Best Sun Tzu Quotes On The Art Of War

Looking for the best Sun Tzu quotes? Then look no further.

Sun Tzu was a Chinese general, military strategist, writer and philosopher who lived in the Eastern Zhou period of ancient China.

He is best known for being the author of the book, The Art of War. The famous book covering military strategy has a great impact on Western and East Asian philosophy and military thinking. In my opinion it is an essential leadership book to add to your reading list.

Sun Tzu believed that the best victory is that which required no battle. His work focused on alternatives such as stratagem, delay, the use of spies and alternatives to war itself, the making and keeping of alliances, the uses of deceit and a willingness to submit, at least temporarily, to more powerful foes.

Sun Tzu is revered in Chinese and East Asian culture as a legendary historical and military figure. Today his work continues to influence and inspire many competitive endeavors in the world, including culture, politics, business and sports, as well as modern warfare.

In this collection I’ve compiled the best Sun Tzu quotes on The Art of War. Enjoy!
